The Honourable James Burty David is dead. He received a heart failure at around 18.00. He was immediately taken to the hospital. James Burty David lived at Beau Bassin and served the Mauritian Population as the Minister of Local Government, Rodrigues and Outer Islands from 2005 till date. He entered politics in 1964 being the youngest politician member. He was mainly involved in the "No. 1" electoral district. He was married and had 2 kids. He was aged 58.
